The Roadster is gone; the ForFour is here.
br />For once I can give more than a single person a ride somewhere - in fact, now I need to go and make three new friends to sit in the back!

That car's not safe! It doesn't have numberplates. You'll be fined in no time.
And you can always come up here(in your illegal car) and take us for a day out to the dales. That'd be a nice thing to do. I'm not that far from you lot.
They're magic numberplates - they show what the person looking at them wants to see. You'd be surprised at the number of nuns that blush when looking at them.
A trip to the dales actually sounds rather nice.
Well you've got my phone number I think so if one weekend you feel like doing that, let me know.
I love how it looks :)
how's the acceleration? I liked the acceleration in the roadster but I'm not sure how this one performs. I imagine it's a bit lower but perhaps with a good engine it accelerates just fine :)
Faster than the Roadster, definitely. 0-60 in 6.9 seconds (as opposed to 10.9 in the Roadster), plus the manual gearbox is faster than the semi-auto.
I put my foot down on the motorway and it was worryingly quick to get to 90mph+
HUH??? are you serious?? 6.9 is FAST! Is the engine tuned up in any way? Is it a 2 liter?
Now you got me wondering! haha
Ha! I thought that might get your attention :)
It's 1.5 litre turbocharged, the torque is amazing.
that's amazing for a 1.5 litre. Then again the Roadster performs really well on a 0.7 litre engine so I shouldn't be surprised! My friend Bart has a Roadster coupé with a brabus chip and he says the chip makes it go faster and accelerate quicker.
I'm looking at the for4s right now on this used cars website, you see my mother wants to buy a car right now and she's looking for something "cheap in price but good quality" (don't we all lol), I should tell her about this one!
It's a great car, not too huge so parking is still easy but with space for five inside. The rear seats slide forward and back on rails, so you can choose between having more boot space or more leg room. I went for the Brabus one because I'm a label-whore, but I've heard great reports on the whole range; there are some good deals around now, because Smart stopped making them last year.
I'd say build-quality is a real step-up from either the ForTwo or Roadster, it feels really solid, and there're a decent amount of toys, too. Drag her out to take a test drive :)
you too have the brabus tuning, aaahhh that explains the acceleration :D yep I'll definitely tell her about this car. In fact she asked me to go to Ghent with her so I'll talk about it in the car :)
going offline now, till next time! xoxo
Me again! Please could you comment me with yours and Cam's numbers? My phone was stolen a while back and I lost everyone's...
PS nice car, but not as cool as the one you used to have!
Will email them to you.
Yeah, it's not so overtly eye-catching as the Roadster was, but it's a whole lot faster and better put together. The old one was from 2003 and out of warranty, beginning to show its age, and so I didn't want to face mounting bills for repairs.
Dare I say it, the practicality will come in useful too!
:o you said practicality!
